Arwuah Recovery Going Well

8 October 2009

Last season’s “Player of the Year’, John Arwuah is making steady progress from a operation on
his knee.

The industrious Arwuah, who was a stand out figure in the United engine room during the past 2 seasons, suffered a tear of his ACL Ligament in his knee during the pre-season.

Arwuah has began his rehabilitation programme with the Club’s biokineticist, Burger Van Der Merwe.

“His progress is going exactly as expected if not better. He is responding to the exercise and rehabilitation and has recovered well. John is obviously a highly motivated individual and is giving it his all to be back in action as soon as possible.

" The first 3 months of a knee rehabilitation programme centers around getting the athlete back to normal walking and daily activities.

" The Next 3-6 months is all about getting the professional athlete back to competitive play, stronger, faster and ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead," said Van Der Merwe.
