“When we played Jomo Cosmos last Wednesday we had a plan to win the game, our tactical preparation was to attack and create as many opportunities as possible.
“Jomo also came with his own ideas and for him it was to pack the defence and at least get a draw, this was evidence when Cosmos got a goal and started defending in numbers as early as the 20 th minute of the first half.
“I must say that Jomo’s plan over heeded ours on the day perhaps because his was more achievable then ours in a sense that he defended well and the fact that we missed two good chances towards the end of the game didn’t do us any good but with a draw, we have something to work on.
“Tonight’s game will afford us an opportunity to do more, we have had a chance to dwell on the Cosmos game and my players have once again pledged their commitment to uplift their game. I personally believe that our luck will soon change and the goals and results will follow.
“Mpumalanga Black Aces surprised everybody last Wednesday when they broke Wits 10 game unbeaten record but I wasn’t surprised at all. They’ve worked hard in the last past two seasons, reaching the Nedbank Cup Final during the season before last and eventually getting promoted to the Premiership last season.
“We are expecting a tough game from them but like I said earlier there is no room for errors, we can’t afford anymore slips up especially at home.
We are always looking forward to your undying support.”
