United Take on High Flying Santos 6 November 2009 Maritzburg United will be looking to come away with a positive result when they take on high flying Santos in Coetzenburg in an Absa Premiership fixture on Saturday night.

Kick off is at 20h00. The “Team of Choice” will go into the fixture buoyed by the positive, work-man like performance mid-week against Orlando Pirates which saw the team return with a point from the Orlando Stadium.

However United will have to dig deep to replace the suspended trio of Peter Petersen, Bageta Dikulu, Elias Ngwepe.

“Obviously the loss of these 3 players are a big blow, however we have the belief that all in the squad are capable of doing well” said Brand Manager, Younus Kadodia.

“Santos are the form team in the league at the moment and are never an easy proposition on their home turf and with elements of the Cape makes our trip all that more daunting” added Kadodia.

United have shown so far this season to be better travelers and will look to continue this in Cape Town.
