Bester nominated for JET CLUB rookie competition 9 November 2009 Maritzburg United’s Namibian international winger, Rudolf Bester has been nominated for the Jet Club Rookie of the month award.

Each Month Jet announces nominees for the Jet Club Rookie of the Month award. It is then up to the soccer loving public to vote for which of the nominees has performed the best that month. T

he winner takes home R 5000 and automatically qualifies for the Jet Club PSL Rookie of the Year award and the R 50 000 prize that goes with it.

After slipping in and out the country unnoticed attending trials at various local clubs, the player has finally settled at Maritzburg United.

The 26 year old has already been capped over 30 times for his country and judging by his performance’s so far this season, Bester could well help United reach greater heights.

Bester is blessed with blistering pace and is giving opposition defenders plenty of Headaches. He signaled his arrival

in the premier league with a scorching goal against Kaizer Chiefs which helped United to a 1-0 win over the Soweto Giants.

Bester has played 11 of the 15 league games so far and there is no doubt he will be a great asset for the Team of Choice this season.

The winning Jet Club Rookie will be determined by the football fans through a voting process.
