Igesund resigns from United 10 November 2009 It is with regret that the Board of Directors of Maritzburg United Football Club hereby accepts the resignation of Head Coach, Mr Gordon Igesund.

Mr Igesund surprisingly tendered his resignation through the club CEO, Mr Afzal Khan at the Club’s weekly management meeting.

Although he did not specify details, Igesund cited personal reasons for his decision which the club fully respects.

The Board of Directors and Management wish Mr Gordon Igesund every success in his future.

The club has also announced that assistant coach, Salie Adams will act as Caretaker Coach until such time that an appointment of a new Head Coach is made.
