Maritzburg United are set to play in the opening match inaugurating Durban’s World Cup Semi-Final Venue, The Moses Mabhida Stadium, on Sunday 29th November 2009.
The Match will pit the “Team of Choice” against fellow KZN team Amazulu in an Absa Premiership fixture.
Tickets for the match are now on sale at Computicket outlets nationally, and tickets will not be available at the stadium.
Speaking to Maritzburgunited.co.za, Brand Manager Younus Kadodia said: “It is a privilege for us to be part of this historic event at this World Class Venue, it is going to be a KZN Derby as well and both teams will be eager to gain maximum points which will ensure an exciting football match.”
