FORMER CITY MAN TO LINK MUFC TO CARDIFF CITY

Former Pietermaritzburg struggle hero, Hanif Bhamjee now settled in Cardiff, Wales, is currently involved in talks with Cardiff City Football Club from Wales with the view of establishing a partnership with Maritzburg United Football Club.

Mr. Bhamjee is the elder brother of District Mayor, Yusuf Bhamjee and is an attorney attached to Law firm, Crowley Solicitors in Cardiff.

“On his recent visit to South Africa, the possibilities of a partnership with Cardiff City F.C. were discussed with Mr. Hanef Bhamjee. The partnership vision is related to player exchange programmes, youth team tours, coaching methodology, football admin and pre-season training tours for both their and our 1st. team," said Brand Manager Younus Kadodia.

“We are grateful that we have a person of Mr. Bhamjee’s calibre to speak on behalf of the club and feedback is that his talks with Cardiff City F.C. have been fruitful thus far. We are positive that the possibilities that we envisaged will be realized,” added Kadodia.
