Arwuah back in the Mix 14 January 2010 Maritzburg United’s Ghanaian Central Midfielder, John Arwuah is now back at full training with the 1 st team after fully completing his recovery from a knee ligament injury sustained during the Pre-Season in June last year.

The “Team of Choice” will most certainly welcome back the tough tackling Arwuah when the Premier Soccer League resumes from the Afcon break in February. United will be away to Jomo Cosmo’s in their 1 st game back on February the 3 rd at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg.

“John is a vital cog in our midfield engine room and has been back in training with the rest of the squad since the 6 th of January” Said CEO Afzal Khan. He is obviously lacking in match fitness but with a host of friendly matches lined up during the next 2 weeks he should be raring to go come our 1 st game back in February” Added Khan.

United will also be looking forward to be returning “home” when the Team resume their Home campaign at the newly revamped Harry Gwala stadium. “ It is great for us to be returning to a venue that holds so much history for the team and it is fitting that the first game there should be a KZN Derby when we host Golden Arrows on the 6 th of February.” Said Khan.
