QUOTES:

FADLU DAVIDS

“Coming from behind to beat Platinum Stars was a good result for us and we’re happy with our log position, but we also feel we’ve dropped some points along the way. We know we haven’t achieved anything and we’re still working hard,” he said.

“We respect SuperSport; they are former champions and still a top team. In previous seasons we would’ve been fine with a draw but the mentality is different now. We want to start winning games away from home and we know it’s possible,” he said.

GLEN SALMON

“Morgan Gould is one of our top players and he will be missed, but we have other players who can fill in. These things happen in football and it’s always an opportunity for other players to put up their hands and do well for the team,” he said.

“The game against Maritzburg is going to be tough because they’ve been playing well. They’ve always been tough to beat at home but this season they seem to be playing with the same intensity even away from home, I believe they are going to cause problems for a lot of clubs,” said Salmon.

“However, if we play correctly and stick to our game-plan we should be too strong for them and come away with the right result,” he concluded.
