The Team of Choice face Free State Stars in Pietermaritzburg in an Absa Premiership match on Wednesday 30 November, 19H30.
Prior to this game Maritzburg have spent a lengthy time on the road - they have had three away league ties, one Telkom Knockout game in Cape Town, while their 'home' match against Kaizer Chiefs took place in PE.
A flying start to the season has diminished somewhat as the results have not gone according to plan in the last month or two, but according to Morton, there is no cause for concern.
He believes the team is still in good form and is hoping to end 2011 on a high.
“Our initial start to the season was great as we were winning games and playing well, but we are not struggling with anything," Morton told the PSL website.
“No team can maintain an unbeaten run the whole season, so I think we need to collect as many points as we can before the Christmas break."
Morton has praised the Team of Choice fans and is hoping they will be the team's '12th man' on Wednesday.
“We have been playing home games away from our home ground for five games and I am delighted that we playing our next game against Free State Stars at our home grounds. We have taken the game from our supporters as I think they have been absolutely amazing.
“Whether it is raining or the sun is burning at 35 degrees they all there in their numbers to support us and it is now up to us to repay their good faith and support.”
The former Wits and Pirates utility player has played both in midfield and defence for Ian Palmer's team. He says he is enjoying life in the KZN capital.
“I am enjoying it here as I think I have settled pretty quickly but I am still learning as I am new in the team. I knew some of the boys before joining. The town is quite small and easy to get around so I am settling in very well.”
* On the injury front, Kurt Lentjies, Rheece Evans, Thabang Matuka and Diyo Sibisi have all recovered from their knocks. Calvin Sosibo however remains doubtful.
Kulegani Madondo is not available for selection as he is with the U23 squad in Morroco. Jabulani Ncubeni has returned from the U20 Cosafa team and will be available.
