Team of Choice resumes Training

Maritzburg United’s 1st team players returned to training this week after the Mid Season Christmas Break ahead of the resumption of the Absa Premiership Campaign which is set to kick off on the 15th of February away to Bidvest Wits.
 

Due to the extended break because of the African Cup of Nations which starts this month, it presents all clubs with the abnormal situation of a second “pre season” within the season.

After going undefeated in their last 3 games of 2011, the “Team of Choice” will be looking at continuing this form once the League resumes and fighting in its push into the Top 8 going into the Business end of the Season.

The club’s medical staff has begun testing on all the players and the club has also arranged a number of Friendly Matches against PSL and 1st Division clubs over the next few weeks.
