The German coach replaces Ian Palmer, and returns for his second stint at the helm of the ‘Team of Choice’

The Board of Directors went through a process of interviewing shortlisted coaches for the position, and felt that Middendorp was the best candidate to continue the team’s progress.

“An important factor in this decision was the fact that Middendorp knows the Club, its structures and more crucially, the players in the squad, said Chairman Farook Kadodia. The Coach has been mandated with the task of getting the team into a Top 8 finish, which was the goal at the beginning of the season, and with the Team being 4 points off this target at the halfway stage, we believe that we are on track to achieve this” concluded Kadodia.

Middendorp has signed an 18 month Contract with the Team of Choice.
