MARITZBURG UNITED SUPPORTERS’ STREET PARADE
09 September 2014

Saturday the 13th of September marks a very important day for for Maritzburg United, as both the senior team and the reserve team will be in action at different venues.

 

The Maritzburg United Senior Team will lock horns with Mpumalanga Black Aces at Harry Gwala Stadium at 3pm. MUFC has won both home matches this season, beating Pokokwane City 2-1 and Chippa United 3-0. The team is looking forward to continuing with the good winning form at home against Aces.

Earlier on in the day at 12h00, Maritzburg United reserve side will play their inaugural game in the Multi Choice Diski Challenge against Kaizer Chiefs. This will be at King Zwelithini Stadium in uMlazi, Durban. This will undoubtedly be the test of character for the MUFC boys under Head Coach Siyabonga Mdluli.

The Maritzburg United Communications Department has organised a street parade in the morning of the 13th September to mobilise support and create awareness about the Teams of Choice in action this Saturday.

The parade will be led by the MUFC Brass Band from Langalibalele Street opposite UniSA FROM 11AM, and will end at Harry Gwala Stadium. All supporters and football lovers are welcome to participate. Please come in your Maritzburg United shirt or colors.
